Performative Perforations

It’s a fracking nuisance, trying
to line up the perforations in
something approaching order.
So much easier — & cheaper —
to move away from the helical
pattern with each charge angled
60° from the previous one & in-
stead shoot the holes at the same
 
place in the casing, usually the
top. Far easier still to not damage
the planet at all. Instead sit at a
player piano, pump the pedals,
& let the pre-programmed perf-
orations perform pneumatically.
