10-GODDESS GONE FISHING

GODDESS GONE FISHING

I feed the fish
handfuls of cat chow
& watch them scamper
                         & dance.
They linger awhile
then skit & bounce
off waters surface.
Fish like their treats
                          soggy.
Dive in & feed upon it.
I skirt along the outer
edges watching new growth
arrive.
New fish babies & mermaids\
just born.
I find bear droppings, an old
coyote den, once housing a
scowling lot of hungry cubs.
I catapult multitudes of energy
& await as the Goddess
sets up her fish pole.
