Code West

Death wears boots like mine,
motorcycle leather black.
If he was tougher,
God would wear boots like these.
My boots speak in tongues
as they strike the ground.
My boots are skilled like storms.
People sacrifice to these boots.
These boots are biblical.
These boots are Old Testament idols.
Children fear my boots,
but they shouldn’t.
My boots are quick and tricky.
Coyote boots,
Spider-Man boots.
These boots rise from the dead.
They raise me, revenant, from the dead.
You can read my boots like palms.
They have strong lines.
They foreshadow.
