Guidelines

Submit all work in a single doc, docx, rtf, or odt attachment. No PDF files please. Use 12 pt. standard font. Please include a brief 3rd-person bio note (under 100 words). Simultaneous  submissions accepted but notify us immediately upon acceptance elsewhere. Previously published work acceptable if writer holds the copyright. Submissions are accepted year-round.

Poetry: Send up to 6 poems in a single file. Each poem should begin on a new page. No restrictions on style or length.

Fiction: Send 1 story (no word limit),  or up to 3 flash fiction pieces (less than 1000 words each). 

Non-fiction: Send 1 piece, any length or subject. 

Songs: Send 3-5 original songs with written lyrics, one song per page, along with MP3 recording for each. Links to ad-free songs may also be acceptable, though MP3 attachments are preferred. Emphasis is on lyrics. Not expecting poems set to music, but something literary adjacent. Poems set to music are acceptable if it’s your poem or a poem in public domain. You must own the copyright on the music, lyrics, & recordings.

Visual Art: Send 10-12 samples with a single theme in one medium only (e.g., photography, painting, drawings, digital art) as low- or high-res jpeg attachments. High-res jpegs will be required for any work accepted for publication.
